In this context, knowing the color preferences of that target can help create designs that are more appealing to users, thereby increasing reach.
This time, I will introduce color preferences that vary by gender and age, so please use this information to assist in your future design creations.
Color Preferences by Gender
Men and women have different favorite colors, but their tendencies for disliked colors seem to be similar.
Although the ranking of favorite colors differs, there tends to be a lot of overlap in the colors that appear on the list.
Regarding disliked colors, the response "there are no disliked colors" ranks first.

*The data this time is based on the survey results from color preferences.
The survey results were derived from a questionnaire format that allowed participants to select from 18 items, including 16 widely recognized colors along with "there is no favorite color / disliked color" and "there are other favorite colors / other disliked colors." In addition to favorite and disliked colors, respondents also provided their hometown, gender, and age, which were used to compile this data. *The same colors are treated as the same color regardless of whether they are expressed in Japanese or English.
